Why Books?
I like to write. Usually.
I like to read. Almost always.
And I love to buy books. Even if I don’t read them. I love to have them.
First there is the buzz of discovering a new book. Perhaps it was mentioned in a current read, or by a speaker, or somewhere on Twitter or Facebook. Something like that.
And then comes the decision to track it down and purchase it. My favourite purchase location is Amazon. I love it when that box arrives – it feels like Christmas. In fact, my favourite presents at Christmas are usually books or Chapter’s gift cards.
I am that much of a book nerd.
I tend to favour non-fiction. I read very few novels – but I usually enjoy them a lot when I do. And my interests roam all over book-dom: Real estate, Internet, Social Media, Spirituality, Self-Help, Family, Food, Green Living, etc…
But I’ve come up against a problem. I’m learning and learning and learning.
But I’m not teaching. I’m keeping it all in. As a natural coach, trainer, and teacher – this is an uncomfortable situation to be in.
I feel all stopped up inside.
I’ve learned so many amazing things. And I’ve finally figured out how to combine reading with sharing.
I’m going to blog as I read. And if you think it would be interesting to read what I’m reading simply click the link and join me.
And please, please, please, let me know what you think about what I’m writing. Is there a book you would love me to read and review? Do you want to know something else? Something more? Something less? The more interactive this is, the more joy I’ll have. And the more I’ll share with you.
Which will hopefully increase your joy as well.
And the world will be a little more enjoyable.

What a great idea!!! Love books too and now I have a new source for titles!
